It was a delight to have hosted a delegation from the Iren Group in the Integrated Supervision Center (CIS) in Turin, from which the entire Italgas network is remotely controlled.

The capital of France will host Enlite Europe this year. The famous International Trade Fair aims to contribute to Europe’s evolution towards a digitalized, carbon-free energy system, thus supporting the energy transition. Bludigit is ready to go… new challenges await us!

The Plants and Networks Command and Control Center (CIR) is the innovation that has allowed Italgas to strengthen its role as a global technological benchmark. This is the first system that can remotely monitor and control gas networks, thanks to the proprietary Dana software, developed entirely at our Digital Factory. We have implemented real time data, IoT and AI systems to guarantee safety and coordination in plant and network management.

It was a day of cooperation, focused on innovation and ideas! An opportunity that allowed us to share goals and solutions with professionals in our field, in a precious discussion regarding the issues of Digital Innovation.
UNI/PDR 147:2023 procedure
“Technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, IoT and other digital platforms have the potential to bring about significant benefits for society and the production system, but precisely for this reason it is essential to consider attentively the impact of these technologies and to make use of them for the ecological transition and for sustainable and fair social development,” says Marco Barra Caracciolo, President and CEO of Bludigit, regarding the new UNI/PdR 147:2023 procedure. This procedure introduces the first standard in Europe for the digital sustainability of companies in processes of innovation: a procedure, along with others, promoted by Italgas with the Digital Sustainability Foundation.
South Innovation Summit
On September 15th, Marco Barra Caracciolo, the CEO of Bludigit, was a guest at the South Innovation Summit. Together with Marco Pietrucci, Head of Innovation at Terna SpA, they discussed the new challenges in the energy world, describing the close link between the energy revolution and global innovation in a joint speech.
